OSoft's vision is to train, educate, and help the Open Source community by providing a standardized reference platform through which open source documentation, training content, and books are delivered. Our ThoutReader™ is an innovative documentation platform that allows developers to browse, search, bookmark, append (through public and private notes), print and expand key concepts from one common interface.

There are no standardized solutions for open source training. Every vendor has its own training resources, tools, and formats. This is frustrating for developers who must learn different ways to retrieve their information. Offering these tools/resources/books in a standardized expandable package will provide consistent training for accelerated learning. The result: “Learn Once™”.

OSoft.com is a “marketplace” where developers congregate to contribute information as well as sell training content. We provide the conduit for publishers, authors, and developers, through the ThoutReader™, to post their content on OSoft.com and generate royalties from units sold. At the author's discretion, we will donate part or all of their proceeds to the Open Source Foundation of their choice. We will gladly post free content as well. The ThoutReader™ is an open source product and is distributed free at www.OSoft.com. Training modules are reasonably priced and provide a greater value for about the price developers expect to pay for a book.
ThoutReader™ is an example of OSoft's Mind Altering Software. The more developers use it, the more they realize they can't work without it.
